Pretty Giveaway

I'm going to launch this beautiful summer weekend with a giveaway.

Just because.

And with something really pretty too.

I found just the thing over at Fat Quarter Shop and they are very kindly letting me give one of these away to one of you ...

This oh-so-pretty "Twice the Charm" fabric roll of Robyn Pandolph's Love and Liberty collection includes 22 - 5 1/2" x 21" pieces ... plenty enough to make something fresh, summery and ... pretty!

If you'd like a chance to win, just leave me a comment telling me what your summer sewing project is.  If you don't have anything on the go you can mention either the last thing you finished or what is on the top of your crafting to-do list.  Comments close Tuesday July 16 and the winner will be announced Wednesday 17th.

Good luck and have a lovely weekend!

I am making Christmas stockings! The beauties from the Love & Liberty Collection would actually be perfect for shabby chic stockings.

We moved at the end of May, so my summer project is creating a sewing space. The last thing I finished was a large churn dash quilt in modern fabrics as a wedding gift for my nephew. And I'm looking forward to ... well, to sewing anything, actually. I miss the bright, light, convenient and always-ready-to-go sewing area in my old house, and need to establish one in the new place.
Thanks for all the inspiration and eye candy you share in your blog, and thanks for the chance to win.

Oh that is so beautiful! I'm working on a hundred things and nothing at all. It's rained so much here that if you sit still for a minute or two mushrooms and moss start to grow on you. It's so dreary and those pretty fabric would certainly perk up the place.

I am taking a challenge class to make a quilt out of triangles only next month. I have narrowed my choices down to a few dozen patterns. Knowing fabrics I would be using would help me choose the pattern. These fabrics would make a gorgeous, soft and girly quilt!!

I am putting borders on the June Schnibbles project headed by Pink Pincushion and The Quilting Life. I am using primary colors, but I love your use of soft pastels. These fabrics fall right in that category.

Okay, since seeing that coffin style hexie project you made and right after that you talked about those wonderful pretty little hexies...I took the plunge and can't help myself. My summer is filled with nothing but hexies, hexies and more hexies. Okay, adding some embroidery to the hexies, but, I think there is a serious addiction going on here, thank you very much for being the enabler. There, my confession is over, I feel better now and now I need to go make more hexies....Susan

I am slowly but surely working my way through 3 quilts that I promised my nephew and nieces for Christmas 2012. I say slowly as I am still on quilt. I find precious little time during the summer months to sit at the sewing machine but I have the best intentions.

I have been working on a wall hanging that features quail that has been in my UFO pile, and I mean pile, for a couple of years now. I am finally getting it put together and have decided to try to quilt it as I go. Hope to also make up a bunch of little credit card/business card wallets and many other things for a fall craft show that is every Saturday in October here in Fallon, NV. I always head straight to the Moda section of any store I visit. I LOVE Moda fabric. Oh, I just saw a Mule Deer Buck in the corn field. So beautiful. Gotta to grab the camera. Thanks for you wonderful and inspiring Blog. I just love it because you usually feature Moda fabric. Thanks for the giveaway.

I have several projects in the works this summer. I've been working on a hand pieced hexagon quilt since January and am no where near done with it. I've also started on a star quilt and need to get started on a quilt for my little niece. And if that isn't enough, I would really like to at least get started on a Christmas quilt. On the plus side, I've finished a purse for my older niece, a pin cushion, and a triple zip pouch to tote my hexies around in. I would love to win the Love & Liberty collection - it would be adorable for my niece's quilt!
