Pretty Giveaway

I'm going to launch this beautiful summer weekend with a giveaway.

Just because.

And with something really pretty too.

I found just the thing over at Fat Quarter Shop and they are very kindly letting me give one of these away to one of you ...

This oh-so-pretty "Twice the Charm" fabric roll of Robyn Pandolph's Love and Liberty collection includes 22 - 5 1/2" x 21" pieces ... plenty enough to make something fresh, summery and ... pretty!

If you'd like a chance to win, just leave me a comment telling me what your summer sewing project is.  If you don't have anything on the go you can mention either the last thing you finished or what is on the top of your crafting to-do list.  Comments close Tuesday July 16 and the winner will be announced Wednesday 17th.

Good luck and have a lovely weekend!

It may not be a Summer project as it is Winter here but I am doing the Farmer's Wife Quilt this year. I've only managed 12 blocks so far but I am making steady progress. Thanks for a wonderful giveaway.

Dreamy fabric! The Fat Quarter Shop knows how to pick them for PrettyByHand- they fit right in!
I've been quilting just under a year. I've made some throws and table runners/placemats. But, I'm putting on my big girl hat and ready to make a BIG quilt. KING size! I'm also going to make my niece a baby blanket for her baby girl coming in Oct.
I am planning on making the king quilt in the dutch pinwheel pattern and then start the BOM/Farmer's Wife and...just see how big it gets! I just love it.
Thanks for the contest- good luck everyone!

I just finished a quilt for my niece for her high school graduation. It was fun to make because she likes different colors than I usually work with. I enjoy your blog so much!

Ok, I'm blaming YOU for my summer project. Stumbled across your blog about a month ago and fell in love with the hexies in your blog header photograph! Currently on a trip through South Carolina and Florida, and having been sewing steadily on hexies! Quilts, Quilts, Quilts too was my first quilt book... what a great resource... it holds up to time very welll... I've been pinning hexie quilt ideas onto my board and decided some time ago to go with the diamond, and not flower style, it has an old worldly feel to it.... Thanks for the inspiration!!!

Thank you for the generous giveaway. The fabrics are beautiful. I have a hexagon flower garden quilt project on the go for by hand in pastel antique floral collection and by machine I have a couple of items I'd like to finish over the holidays. But as we're moving house late September, for the second time in a year there's not much likelihood of that happening. Love reading your blog and being inspired by your lovely makes. :-)
I am working on a baby blanket for a friend at church. She is due this month so I need to get quilting! I love your blog! I love your patterns also! Thanks for the prettiest email in my tons of emails I seem to get!

I am still trying to finish the binding on a lap quilt I started in 2010.That's why my nick-name is Slowpoke. I did scroll thru your 509 entries to see if I had entered before, but my eyes got watery and I thought "what the heck? what are the odds that i would be chosen anyway?'. I still have a quilt I owe my son and daughter-in-law from about 5 years ago, but they want it hand-quilted.
Good Luck to them. I love to see all your pretties and oh my! you sure do make everything pretty.
Thank you.

I've been working on a barn quilt and Levi x's and o's quilt this summer, plus a checkerboard sashing for a Santa quilt I started years ago. Hope I finish before this Christmas :)
Thanks for the fun giveaway. Your blog is one of my favorites!

Ooooohhh....I love that fabric! Let's see...I just finished a quilt for my son & his fiance' . They are getting married next week. Now am working to finish up a baby quilt for my new grandson who is a month old. When done with that I want to start on a quilt for myself with some fabrics I have collected over the years for that "special" quilt. Also will do some embroidered blocks from Sarah Jane Studio's or some fairy blocks I have saved.

Ooooh, I love that roll of fabrics; yummy. I have a couple of projects I'm working on. I am in the midst of making 2 grands their Christmas stockings - Christmas in July! Also, I'm making myself a thread catcher that will hang from my sewing table. It'll have a pincushion and a couple of other special features.
