Pretty Giveaway

I'm going to launch this beautiful summer weekend with a giveaway.

Just because.

And with something really pretty too.

I found just the thing over at Fat Quarter Shop and they are very kindly letting me give one of these away to one of you ...

This oh-so-pretty "Twice the Charm" fabric roll of Robyn Pandolph's Love and Liberty collection includes 22 - 5 1/2" x 21" pieces ... plenty enough to make something fresh, summery and ... pretty!

If you'd like a chance to win, just leave me a comment telling me what your summer sewing project is.  If you don't have anything on the go you can mention either the last thing you finished or what is on the top of your crafting to-do list.  Comments close Tuesday July 16 and the winner will be announced Wednesday 17th.

Good luck and have a lovely weekend!

Since we have been moving this summer, I've been working on a couple of hand stitching projects that I hope to finish before summer ends. One is a hexi project that includes some needle turn appliqué and some embroidery. I hope to finish both of these (among other projects) before summer ends because I already have a list of things to sew for fall and Christmas!

My daughter is getting married in one week. Her colors are pink and grey. I made each of the four bridesmaids pink print pillow cases and a grey floral bag to put those and other things my daughter had made including needle book cases. For my daughter I made a pillow case (18x18) of white and off white hexagons. All were inspired by YOU! Thank you and thank you for the chance to win the beautiful fabrics by Robyn Pandolph!

This has been a really crazy summer so I am not currently working on anything. :( I hope things will slow down soon so that I can get a start on some Christmas gifts and finish up some arm chair caddies that I started awhile ago. Thank you!!

What a gorgeous bundle of fabric! I'm a big fan of Robyn's and can't wait to get some of this new line. I do six BOMs at my LQSs each month so I'm trying to get and stay caught up with all my projects. The only new sewing I'm planning is starting some Christmas gifts. I'm also sewing a Fidget Apron as part of this month's project with Kristy at Hopeful Threads.

Thank you and FQS for a super giveway and a chance to win.

It's winter for me down under - so perfect quilting weather. Which is lucky because I have one that needs binding and another that needs quilting. Then I want to start a new one for my 1 year old daughter - this bundle looks perfect! Fingers crossed.

I've no real plans for summer projects, but there's always something being stitched. Right now I'm working on two different quilts with cherries in them. One is pieced cherries and the other is appliqued. Thanks for a chance to win such a lovely little bundle of fabric.

Gorgeous fabrics! I was lucky enough to take an applique class from Robyn many, many years ago. Right now I'm working on the Wild Olive summer stitching club and in non-quilting sewing I'm still sewing up neckerchiefs for the boy scout troop. 18 of those to go and I'm done for a long time (I hope!)

My husband will be getting out of the Army in just a few months. So, since we will be moving into a new home, I'm making a quilt out of Avalon by Fig Tree fabric! I love the fabric you are giving away, thanks for sharing!

LOVE this fabric - thank you so much for introducing to me. This Summer I am working on a detailed applique project that is so time-consuming that it may be a year-long project....

I have several projects going but my main effort is working on a Windblown Tulips quilt using a block pattern from the great Mountain Mist Batting collection. You can see an EQ 7 representation here: http://imgur.com/a/7dMca I have the central block and 6 of the small blocks done. Once I finish 6 more small blocks (needleturn), I will work on the borders that have beautiful nodding (windblown) tulips on them (not shown in my picture). I find your Prettybyhand blog gives me a quick shot of inspiration every time I read it.

I'm new to sewing (outside of mending). My next project is a sewing machine cover. No one wants to clean their machine before starting a new and inspiring project! It's time to see how pretty practical can be!
July 14, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterStaci
I would love to win! I'm not working on a sewing project because I'm working on a sewing room redo! I have plans for making pillows and curtains once it's done.

Oh, Kristyne, that little bundle is very pretty! I'm working on a quilt using Fig Tree's Boardwalk pattern and Kate Spain's Cuzco fabric. It's quite bright and fun. And because the woman who's going to receive the quilt loves Tinkerbell, I've decided to embroider a Tinkerbell in the corner of the quilt top. Thanks for all your inspiration!

I'm currently knitting a hat for hubby, and haven't selected my next project. It could be knitting, hand appliqué, more hexagons (yummmmm), or sewing some pillow covers. So many fun possibilities, so little time...
Thanks for holding this giveaway. I'm a Robyn Pandolph fan, too!
