Well hello!  How is your week going so far?  Are you ready for Christmas?  I'm not.  But then again I never am.  And yet Christmas still comes anyway and things always work out. :)

I've been doing a little pre-xmas shopping for myself ...

These pretties came in the mail yesterday.  When I emailed my friend Kerri at Sew Deerly Loved to tell her the fabric had arrived and how much I love it, she offered to do a giveaway for you, my dear readers!  I'm very excited for one of you to win this bundle of sweet Japanese fabrics. :)

He joined the Army a few months ago and has been posted to a city just over 2000 lms away from us, so I thought I would make him something to remind him of us each day and of how much we love him. I'm working on a quilt for my husband which will be the first quilt I have ever made that will be just for him! It's super manly which is also a first for me.
I have already made two makeup pouches for my 2 sweet sisters. I have one more gift I would like to still make but I'm not going to stress myself out so if I get to it then great and if I don't then that's fine too.

I have 3 flannel quilts completed for my kids and their spouses. They will keep them warm at their camps this winter in the north Maine woods. I have 7 table runners done and 8 pillowcases done for my grandkids.
Next up will be to kit up tree decorations for anyone to make when they all gather at this Nanny's house on Sunday.

I am in the middle of a quilt for my queen sized bed. It is not a Christmas quilt and it will not be finished by Christmas. The only Christmas project I have going on is a cross stitch nativity scene and it is going very slowly. Maybe I can finish it for Christmas 2014. I love Sew Deerly Loved and I adore Atsuko Matsuyama's fabric. Thanks for the Giveaway!
