My Flower Sugar came in the mail a couple of days ago and I was thinking of you when it arrived. I was unsure how I was going to use mine, but I was saying to myself "I wonder what Pretty By Hand would do with this". I still daydream about your Farmer's Wife quilt. :) I can't to see what you create!

Yay for the happy fabric! I am still waiting to get my Bee In My Bonnet row along quilt back from the longarmer - it's all Flower Sugar on white. I still have a healthy stack of that fabric, but I'd like to add the new dots and gingham.

Everything you make sings to me! I do have a question about the little log cabiny blocks you make. I have only ever made them by starting with a strip the same length as the center block, but I like yours ever so much better where each strip around the center is the same length for every completed side. Why do you do that and how do you do it? I have searched for directions and can't locate any. Thank you for your gorgeous work and delightful comments. Dorothy
