A drawstring bag is one of those things that you sometimes wonder what to use it for, and then all of a sudden you find the perfect thing - almost always something precious - to store in it and it becomes THE special keeper for THAT special thing ... forever. Am I right?
I hope this strawberry drawstring keeper find a special something to hold. :)
It's fully lined, has a pleated bottom and measures

Very specialโค๏ธ๐๐๐๐
If you plan to continue to auction your stuff, can you do it on eBay?
If not, I don't see any reason to subscribe anymore.
Any way saw your posts when you made some of these items and wished I could have them And for a price now I can
Thank you for doing this
Colleen
I was about to explain why it's important to tell you what an auction is for, incase it was important like she lost her home, or her immediate family member had cancer. We went through that with my sister, and had to drive 45 min each way, almost every day, and my parents DID go every day. I was going to explain why I pay MORE in auctions that have to do with cancer or a person tragedy-like a hurricane or tornado...
THEN I saw the comments above. ThIs is ONE of my FAVORITE blogs to follow in the sewing/quilting/embroidery category. I have been following for TWO YEARS, and have NEVER seen her do an auction. She creates some of the most beautiful things i have ever seen. Her talent to put together fabrics is extraordinary!!!! This is NOT ebay junk!!! She NEVER has sold her stuff on her blog that I am aware of, but in many posts you will see people ask if they can buy them!!!
You are incredibly rude, and if I don't like a blog, I simply stop following it, without saying something rude. OF COURSE you don't have your website/blog listed, because I wanted to see what YOU do that's so special?!! Probably nothing, and that's why you are so hateful!! This is seriously THE TOP THREE out of more than 4500 blogs that I read because I love to see her pretty stuff EVERY DAY. I get it EMAILED to me!!! This past weekend I changed it to a different email, because my other email wasn't working through feeder, I LIKE IT THAT MUCH.
I would LOVE to know what YOU make. This is a HANDMADE item!!! She shopped at a super expensive store (not Walmart, Joanns or Hobby Lobby) to buy JAPANESE fabric to make this!! People that are creatively gifted DON"T SELL ON EBAY. THey sell on a creative site like Etsy to other creative people that APPRECIATE it!!! Good Job. you have thoroughly disgusted me with your ignorance for the finer things in life. Be sure to tell your mother that she didn't teach you the "If you don't have something nice to say" rule, that the rest of us know.
People that KNOW anything or taken time to read more than 15 posts would KNOW that. I am so mad at the Ebay thing. If I got anything from Kristyne I would TREASURE it forever!! Whether I paid money for it or not!! I have her book and I will treasure it forever. She is one of the most talented people that I know about. For you to say EBAY, makes me insane with anger.
GRR, Sorry I had to say this. Colleen, sorry that I said anything that may have came out the wrong way, because I am really super mad about the other 2 comments. Basically I was saying, sometimes I pay more because of the circumstance. And I'm super sorry to Kristyne for being compared to EBay. Because anyone that knows anything, would have said that. Since I missed the past 2 weeks, I'm looking forward to finding out about the auction and seeing what's for sale!!
Thanks for allowing me to post,
karrie smith
PS: I never claimed I made anything great, but I never ignorantly said a blog (someone's hard word and pride and joy) and beautiful things were Ebay hacks, and included MY blog. I haven't posted anything I have made yet, but I'm learning. I love to read blogs more than writing one.
Karrie please understand you and I are on the same side on this one !!
The 2 who posted before me were complaining about selling on the blog
What I was trying to say is there is a reason the blog owner is selling the things she made on
her blog. And look it is her blog, she is selling her own hand made things (beautiful things) made by her
Perhaps you just saw my name as I proudly signed my post

At first I was going to comment to Colleen why I like to know the reasons for an auction, that what I can donate more for things that mean a lot to me (like what I was saying about families dealing with cancer). Often times, I will pay extra for auctions or donations for people that are going through a similar experience. It wasn't meant to be a mean comment, I just wanted her to know why I liked to know what the auction was for. It started off as a simple comment to Colleen. THEN I understood why she wrote it like that, when I saw the 2 comments above hers that I didn't see at first. So then I started my comment over by explaining what had just happened to me seeing the comments, that I understand why she said that, and that i totally agreed with her comment...
BUT I didn't explain the part that I totally agreed with her!! (Insert epic fail here) I just wanted Colleen to know that I felt the same way about what she had said, but as I said, I epically failed at that one!! That's why I used her name at the beginning and not those other ones. Except it looked like I was calling her out for things she didn't say!
My brain was going way faster than my fingers when I was typing it out. Colleen was actually really nice about it, and wrote me a sweet email explaining herself, and that she thinks we are on the same side (which we ARE, I just didn't make that part clear), and that she wasn't any of those things I said. I thanked her for being so nice (she was SOOO nice about it!) about it and apologized for it. When I reread my comment to submit last night, I didn't catch it at the time, otherwise I would have put the "totally agree with you " part, because nothing Colleen commented was rude at all to anyone else!!! I told Colleen that she was awesome for saying something against the hateful comments and I backed her up, because the Ebay hack comment really burned me up. When you create things and put it out for the world to see, it can be really intimidating (even if you are AWESOME at it). To say it looks like a hack, is NOT true and not polite. There is no reason to do that, except to be mean. The mean person could have unsubscribed, without the mean comment! It was just plain ignorant for them to say that, and I think I explained why pretty well. Except for the part about agreeing with Colleen :)
Thanks for pointing that out, June, bc it looks like I"m being rude towards her, but that was not my intent :) I don't want other people to think that, and think to themselves: that mean girl can't even tell off the right people!
Love all your work and I'm delighted to see that the items are being prized so highly! Keep up the great work!
Not sure if I'm current on bidding but I'd gladly pay $20.00 for this darling bag (the coral-ish pink I'm seeing all over in clothing and I'm just loving it!).
It is ALWAYS a pleasure for me to stop by for a visit.
This is one of my favorite blogs! And even if I don't leave a comment that often, nor will I probably bid (as much as I love everything Kristyne has put up for auction!) I'm am totally enjoying reading along.
Haters can just go and hate somewhere else!
