Auction #8 - Farmer's Wife Block Pincushion

This sweet little pincushion makes me laugh.  I made it from a Farmer's Wife Quilt block that didn't turn out right.  You can read about it here.  It measures 4 1/4" x 1" and is filled with ground walnut shells so it's nice and firm and weighty. ;)  All the fabric is Lecien's Flower Sugar.

If you would like to bid on this pincushion, you can do so in the comments section.  This auction ends Monday, June 23 at 6:00 pm MST.   I am happy to ship anywhere, but postage is not included.  I'll send a PayPal invoice to the winning bidder.

Love the pincushion, every pincushion!
I read your original blog Kristyne and was bemused about the colour combination warning, as here in Oz the forbidden combination was blue and green. Blue and green should not be seen without a colour in between. My 93 year old great Aunt had been involved in the "rag trade" since before the First World War and that was the rule. This was in the 70's and who was I to disagree. Lol
Which version of the farmers wife quilt were you making? It is a long term goal of mine
Kindest regards

I'll go once more to $50. I have plans for a FW quilt as well, but this may be as close as I'll get to one at my house.
