The Assembly Line

I didn't quite get these done for this Christmas ... so now I'm officially really really REALLY early for next year. ;)

Now when it comes to doing something over and over, listen, I'll pick this sort of repetative task any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

Especially when I have lazy family days to fill.

Why, it's still winter and you can still go skating. These are way too beautiful to let them disappear after xmas. Hildy

Yes, I agree with Hildy! Definitely something you can keep out all winter long! The stitching is beautiful!

Hildy's got the right idea! And you aren't the only one...I'm still finishing up a few of the "Gingerbread Girl" ornaments from this series! You can still have cookies after Christmas, yes??? :)

I am always stitching something while watching TV and it's OK if it is repetitive. Your stitching is very neat, and I love how you transfer your design onto the felt.

You're not alone in not finishing an intended Christmas make! I always have something left over, but you'll feel great when they're complete. With the winter snows still here (and I think planning to stay for a while), these lovely little skates will not be out of place adorning a special place in your home. :) Wendy

What is the material that you put over your fabric for the pattern? Does it tear or wash away? Thanks...great idea.

I have a fixation with skates too. I only ever rollerskated mostly (in florida) but dreamed of Ice Skating.... not too shabby the few times I have done it but I don't quite twirl like Dorothy Hamill --age reveal : / LOL! So may you share where you found these lovely pattern. Working full time has stolen my pleasure of blog hopping like I used to. CONGRATS!! on your book.
