A Little More About Me ... and (Another) Giveaway!

Today I was very graciously invited to be a featured designer over at ShabbyFabrics' blog.
(Say WHAT?!)
I was asked to write a little bio of sorts about how I got to be here as a new pattern designer.
Even if you've been reading my blog since I started, you will learn new things about me that I've not shared before.
Don't worry. I spared you from such minutiae as being born feet first, wearing a headgear for 2 years, accidentally lighting a classmate's hair on fire (he was not hurt) and scuba diving with stingrays.

Just read your post and I cannot tell you how much I smiled. It reminded me of me when I was a girl. Same skills with the Brownie patches and the wanting to craft everything. Only real difference was my Grandmas taught me how to crochet and knit.

That was fun to read! Your embroidery at 13 was aMAzing! And... LOL.... I am just guessing here that those hexagon flowers weren't the ONLY thing you did on your honeymoon.... (wink) what a great memory you have! And by head gear, I am guessing it is referring to braces at some later stage in life as opposed to the trauma of being born feet first? Or if you came already equipped with the head gear, no wonder you had to come out feet first - your poor mom LOL! Congrats, friend! Love all of your patterns!!!! :o) So excited for you!!!!!!! And I love that your dad saw your talent way early on! :o)

YAY for you!!! I have been having computer issues this week, but I'm all caught up reading your blog now! What an amazing week you are having! Loved reading your story.
