afternoon tea

Rosebud china, pink crystals, a lovely assortment of french pastries (pamiers, pain de chocolat & coconut meringes) from down the street, and tea with a good friend who forgives paper towel napkins.

This is how to turn a house into a home.

Hi Kristyne,

I am sure you won't be surprised that I have the same place mats as you. Funny how our taste is so similar.
Can't wait to see some pictures of your new home once you are settled. I love your stories of trying to locate things. I know your readers can relate.

I am almost clueless as to how i found your blog. I just picked up a copy of the Mollie Makes magazine on Blogging at our local bookseller, Barnes & Noble. I live in the states and don't get this magazine too often. I'm sure I must have found you via link in somebody's post. Who knows? Anyway, your photographs in this blog post are absolutely lovely. I just want to gobble up some of the goodies.

While I'm a photographer, I am learning so much by finding and following new blogs. Thank you. Now I'm off to order some of your PDF patterns. BTW, it is impossible to order your patterns while I'm viewing your blog and store via Bloglovin. So I decided to follow you the regular way - by individual emails.

I just love setting a beautiful table and pastries add the crowning touch! It's nice to add a little civility in the middle of chaos....it gives hope that all will not remain chaotic.

Have a great day and blessings to you as you continue to organize!

I just read some of your older posts and couldn't believe the posts about you suffering from iron deficient anemia too! I was just diagnosed. Thought my 82 was bad WOW 77. Had to go get the wonderful tests, EGD, colonoscopy, and swallowed a camera capsule. They found nothing wrong. I didn't think he would. Been on iron now for a little over a month and am finally noticing a difference. I made the trip of the steps twice without panting this am!! and no more wheezing. Hope you continue to improve. And I am enjoying eating fruits, veggies and meat even though it means I can't buy fabric since more food is required at the grocery store!
