happy new year!

Hello hello hello!  Geez, I almost had to blow dust off the old keyboard here.  I've been gone longer than I'd intended.

Hope your 2014 is off to a great start.  Mine is - with a little applique and embroidery.  Not sure how this project is going to turn out, but I'm liking it a lot so far ... :)

Happy New Year!
You're making me curious...

By the way, I'm glad I made you laugh the other day (about the stitches crossed in the wrong direction). If I made a person smile, that day is considered a success, so thanks for letting me know my day was a success!

Well, I'm intrigued! Your stitching is so precise. I just have to tell you that I checked your book out of the library and now I am going to buy it. I have to make the boys style quilt for my 2 year old grandson. I know he'll love it and I will have so much fun making it!
Happy new year! Cindy

I have never been interested in applique, until today! You have a way of motivating me. I hope that doesn't sound creepy! haha!

Oooh, the beginnings of something wonderful, I am sure!
Christmas brought some lovely gifts, one of which was your book! I had mentioned to Santa that he could get it at your shop, but with all that crunching of the cookies left for him, I guess he didn't hear me. He picked it up elsewhere. Santa was supposed to ask you to sign it.
Another goodie was Farmer's Wife Quilt, but I can't get the pdf to open the patterns. Hmm.
Hope your holidays were filled with more joy than snow!

Ho-hum....just another GORGEOUS quilt coming!!!! ; D
I love the stitching, the subtle beading, the colors.....I think you are in the right field of work.
I have such a hard time finding any subtle ivory fabrics like the background you use. How do you find those?
Keep up the inspiring work- we love it!

Can't wait! Looks great as always! My daughter has been pulling out my copy of your book "S is for Stitch" and telling me about the colors of thread I need to get to make her some blocks. She is partial to the kitty cat right now (in dark pink please, with a light pink nose). Guess I'll be doing some embroidery soon also!
