Not much sewing got done around here this weekend ... we had more important things to do.

(waiting for the bride ... this was my 10 year old's first wedding and she asked for the end seat so she could have a good view.)

I really didn't expect to cry.  But as soon as I saw my very dear friend come down the aisle it took all of a nanosecond for my eyes to completely flood over and I could hardly see through my camera lens. 

Shout out to whoever invented tissues.

The bride was beautiful, the groom was all smiles ... it was a lovely day.

I attended my niece's wedding. She had an outdoor wedding. It was a beautiful ceremony and we had so much fun at her reception!

I am glad you had your priorities in the correct order this weekend and that you shared in your friend's joy. I am curious also as to the front of this gorgeous bridal gown. I took advantage of an unusual warm fall day in Michigan by going sailing on Saturday and fall perennial planting on Sunday.

I did the SAME thing! My niece was married Saturday night. Amazing weekend. And yes - the tears... oh my goodness what is it about weddings and new babies that I can't hold it together either! Your photos look amazing! :O)

A whole week of Highlights, Biked through Provence and am now in Paris, and bought a little fabric in many different places :)
