Progress ... And a Time Warp
February 27, 2013
Oy, this little thing is taking me forever!
Started stitching it in October.
Finished the embroidery in January.
And now I finally figured out what to turn it into.
(Hand quilted the embroidery side, but went for the much faster machine quilting on the other side.)
It's for a little someone special here in my house.
She has a birthday coming up.
A big one.
Double digits.
She can hardly wait.
I'm hyperventilating.
Where - exactly - did the last 10 years go?
I checked my pockets. They're not in there.
I could have sworn it was just a few weeks ago she looked like this ...

Oooooh that is beautiful, I have so many projects of Natalie's that I have embroidered and love everyone. The years do go very quickly!!! My "little girl" just started Uni and I am not quite sure that I like her living away from home and I am missing her dreadfully.

I hate that they keep getting older, when I tell them to stop:) Happy birthday to your daughter. she's a lucky girl to get such cute things from her Mom.
I am sooo with you on the time warp! February has 4 (four!!) of my kids birthdays in it and by the end of the month I am a weepy-sentimental mess. Every year they pass milestones back-to-back and I just.can't.handle.it.
Your daughter is adorable! Many, many blessings and good wishes for her this year and prayers for you that you can hold it together! :o)
P.S. Love, love, love your blog!
